In July, 2010, the contract of Belgrano Cargo Railway Renovation Project was signed between CMEC and Secretary of Transportation of Argentina. To meet the local legal demands, China Machinery Engineering Argentina Corp (CMEA), a subsidiary company was established by CMEC and CMEC Comtrans International Co.Ltd, and the Project’s contract will be in the name of the subsidiary. After the foundation of the subsidiary, the market of both Argentina and the South America will be further developed.
CMEA has been approved by the Commerce Minisitry of China, and the registrations in the Administration of Exchange Control have been finished.The local registration of CMEA is now being processing.

CMEC entered into Malaysia engineeringcontracting market in 1994. CMEC built Sejingkat Coal Fired Power Station (Phase One) as an EPC contractor.
